An entertaining, feel-good romance with memorable characters.

WAYNESVILLE, N.C. - ncarol.com -- About the Book:
Hannah Murphy is over her dead fiancé. In the year since his death, she's kept herself busy and has finally discovered who she wants to be. What she doesn't want to be any longer is everyone's doormat.
Quinn Taylor has been burned in love, so he's focused on his career and his future. When the woman he's been secretly in love with since high school flings herself at him, he's thrown off balance. He's finally on the verge of having everything he wants and couldn't be happier. Just as their relationship begins to bloom, the past comes back to haunt them and old insecurities rise to the top. Can they overcome their self-doubts and move forward together? Or will their secrets separate them forever?

About the Author:
Born and raised in Virginia, Kathryn Ascher enjoyed writing poetry and fiction in high school, but put it all aside when she went to college. After graduating from Virginia Tech (Go HOKIES!) with her degree in communications, she married her college sweetheart and went to work for a local radio station. After their first child was born, she became a stay-at-home mom and began spending her free time crafting and reading.

Just before her third child turned three, Kathryn decided to give writing another try. When she picked up her first romance novel, she immediately knew that was the genre for her. She was drawn to the strong lead characters and quirky secondary characters, the settings, the humor, and most importantly the feelings of falling in love for the first time. She hopes that her readers enjoy these aspects in her writing as well.
Kathryn lives in Florida with her husband and three children, now two teenagers and a young adult.
