Jay Preston Silicon Private Wealth
Artificial Intelligence Event Hosted by Silicon Private Wealth's Peter Coe Verbica

BAY AREA, Calif. - ncarol.com -- To many, Artificial Intelligence (AI) appears to be an overnight phenomenon; contrary to this general perception, AI's underlying technologies have been evolving for years.  Jay Preston will examine this sensation's past, present and future as the Verb™ Presents Speaker Series' guest on March 25, 2025, Tuesday at 5:30 pm (Pacific).  The talk's moderator will be Peter Coe Verbica, CFP®, a Principal and Managing Director at Silicon Private Wealth.

Verbica discusses the first time he heard Mr. Preston speak at an informal roundtable in the redwoods.  "There was an impressive group of high technology experts, entrepreneurs, and self-taught social scientists," Verbica explains. "Jay Preston distinguished himself as a knowledgeable yet approachable communicator.  He articulately synthesized much of AI's complexities.  He has a genius for coherency."

According to Mr. Preston's curriculum vitae, his "career spans both start-ups and Fortune 100 companies, all technology focused. He is currently Chief Revenue Officer at SDI Presence LLC, a private equity-backed IT Services provider serving both the public sector and large commercial enterprises. Prior to SDI, Jay served as CEO and co-founder of Conneq, Inc., an online marketplace for gig workers, leveraging automation and AI to achieve "zero touch ops." Jay also served as SVP of Global Service Delivery and Software Development at Astreya Partners, managing a $200M P&L and overseeing a global team of 1,500 members. Earlier in his career, Jay held leadership positions in Sales and Marketing at Milestone Technologies and Cisco."

Peter Coe Verbica and his family's roots are multi-generational in the Bay Area, including their link to landmark Henry Coe State Park.  As a former economics professor and the investment committee chair of a longstanding nonprofit, Peter considers defense, as well as offense, in portfolio management -- a nuance more may come to admire during these tumultuous times.  Peter values our advanced platform's competitive pricing and flexible structure.  As a Certified Financial Planner®, former VC fund manager, CFO, private equity investor, co-inventor, trustee, and California Licensed Professional Fiduciary, Peter brings an inimitable breadth of experience.  Peter obtained his JD at Santa Clara Univ.
