TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. & TORONTO - ncarol.com -- The DG Meditech today announced the appointment of Davis Gravelsins as Chief Executive Officer, US Operations. Previously working as Senior Liaison Digital Transition - Healthcare on projects in the Baltic and in the E.U., Mr. Gravelsins will now be heading up DG Meditech's service expansion into North and South American geographies.

Founded in Daugavpils, Latvia in 1989 as Derzins Glochsteinbacher Medicīnas Programmatūras Risinājumu Korporācija, (DGMPR Korp.) the company rebranded in 2020 as DG Meditech to expand into markets outside of Europe, where is known for its large service offering of digital transformation services, working with government and state-run corporate clientele in acute and long-term care, as well as in medical, therapeutic, homecare and behavioral areas.

Eying new international opportunities, the company opened offices in Traverse City, Michigan and Toronto, Canada prior to the onset of Covid-19, and has since built agile consulting teams in each city. These teams of consist of consultants, analysts, compliance experts and finance personnel who are working under Mr. Gravelsins to finance and manage new North American investment opportunities for DG Meditech's European clients.

Operating as DGMPR Korp. and now as DG Meditech, the company has provided digital transformation services including finance, purchasing and software solution optimization expertise for dozens of clients for over three decades, deploying some of the first EHR and IMS solutions in European state-run and private healthcare.

The company's clients include ACOs, hospitals, home care groups, Skilled Nursing Facilities, senior living organizations, along with many long-term care facilities and their government funding organizations.

Many of our clients are well down the transformation path, and are now actively pursuing management and purchasing opportunities in Canada, the USA, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
